CLT and Steel hybrid student accommodation for Loughborough University
Truck #30 – the final CLT delivery is due onsite on Thursday 23 April. We’re currently installing the 5th floor roof of Block C which forms a folded plate hip section at this innovative new six storey hybrid CLT and Steel student accommodation.
The project has been delivered on time and within budget: the G-frame team has installed approximately 1500m3 of CLT and 40 tonnes of steel in a tight 15 week programme. Designed by David Cox Architects, the new building will provide 102 apartments, coffee shop, launderette and large communal area at ground floor
