Congratulations to Fletcher Crane Architects on the completion of their innovative Water Gardens Pod. The G-frame team installed this high-end roof-top extension on top of a building which sits beneath a seventeen storey apartment block. The new residence designed for the Church Commissioners slots neatly between the two existing buildings and exemplifies the versatility of CLT and its ability to overcome tough design and site requirements. The mono-pitched pod sits on an elevated platform and is linked to the main building by a glass entranceway. It accommodates three inward-facing bedrooms and three bathrooms and features exposed CLT throughout.
