Great to see the University of Nottingham’s new Teaching and Learning Hub up and running. The five-storey hybrid CLT, steel and concrete teaching block provides a focal point for University Campus, which at 330 acres is one of the UK’s largest. Facilities include a 300 seat lecture theatre, performing arts space, social learning hub and computer lab equipped with engineering software. The building features a top-lit atrium and full-height glazing to the main staircase which brings additional natural daylight to the internal spaces. G-frame Structures were responsible for the design, supply and installation of the CLT panels to the steel frame and concrete floors.
