Creche for major new housing scheme in County Dublin
Shanganagh Creche in Dún Laoghaire forms part of Land Development Agency’s (LDA) first, and Ireland’s largest, social and affordable housing scheme which it is developing in partnership with Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council. The scheme will deliver more than 500 homes with the majority built to passive house standard and will help meet Ireland’s demand for new homes by unlocking State land. Located within a historic landscape adjacent to Shanganagh Park, the scheme will feature a public square with an avenue leading to Shanganagh Castle. G-frame have worked closely with Walls Construction and O’Dwyer Steel to deliver the hybrid steel and mass timber structure.
