St Crispin’s School

Dining room extension for Grade II listed school

Design, supply and installation of CLT roof panels to form the roof of a new single storey dining room extension for the Grade II listed St Crispin’s School in Wokingham. Part of a wider expansion to accommodate the larger cohort entering the school, there is a perfect synergy to the use of offsite construction for the new extension. The original School was built in the early 1950s using a light steel frame and pre-cast concrete and is considered an exemplar of the UK Government’s post-war pre-fabrication policy which was key to meeting increasing demand for school places.
