Multi-use hall and dining extension for primary school
Designed by HLM Architects for Wokingham Council, this new addition for the Piggott C of E Primary School comprises a multi-use main hall and dining area which features large two-way tapered glulam beams spanning 17.2m and measuring 1m deep at the central apex.
G-frame were responsible for the design, supply and installation of glulam beams along with the CLT roof structure to the main hall and the CLT roof to an external canopy measuring approximately 4.5m which runs around the perimeter of the building.
