Congratulations to the University of Nottingham whose Teaching & Learning Hub has won a RIBA National Award, a RIBA East Midlands Award and the RIBA East Midlands Sustainability Award.
The G-frame team is proud to have played a part in delivering this landmark project. The five-storey hybrid CLT, steel and concrete building by MAKE Architects, is set out on a rigorous one metre grid diagram and features a top-lit atrium with full-height glazing to the main staircase. Facilities at the teaching block include a new 300 seat lecture theatre, performing arts space, social learning hub and computer lab equipped with engineering software.
